Terms & Conditions – Conferences/meetings/parties
Our Terms and Conditions are designed with the customer in mind. They are there to protect your needs, as well as our own.
1. Confirmations
- Bookings will be treated as provisional until written confirmation is sent to the Glen Mhor Hotel, which should be within 7 days of the original booking. The Hotel will then acknowledge receipt of confirmation in contract form
- We at the Glen Mhor will need to know the anticipated number of guests attending not less than 7 days before the function.
- Final numbers must be given at least 3 days before the function. The amount payable will be calculated on this final number or the number who actually attended, whichever is greater.
2. Cancellations
- Should you have to cancel your booking, a charge may be made, calculated as a percentage of the total booking value, according to the scale highlighted below:
Less than 7 days prior to the event - 50%
7- 14 days prior to the event - 10%
- All cancellations should be confirmed in writing by the Client.
- Any extra costs incurred for a particular event, that otherwise would not have been incurred, will be charged in the event of cancellation unless we are able to re-use
3. Deposits and Payment
- The Glen Mhor reserve the right to require payment of a deposit at any time before the start of a function.
- Full payment of the balance will be due upon departure unless otherwise agreed.
- Credit facilities with The Glen Mhor may be obtained on application. Credit facilities must be agreed before the start of the function. All accounts incurred against this agreement will be invoiced immediately after the function. All invoices are due for payment within 28 days of the date of the invoice. Any queries raised will not affect the immediate payment of the outstanding balance.
