Wedding and Events Coordinator
Selling wedding and events, managing bookings from point of enquiry to departure from the hotel including show-rounds, enquiry follow-ups, meetings, converting enquiries, planning, taking payment, coordinating on the day and chasing feedback
Main duties
To consistently provide excellent customer service contributing to the guest’s experience at the hotel
To be fully aware of the hotel facilities, wedding and events packages and promotions
To be the main point of contact for all enquiries including phone, email and others
To ensure all enquiries are chased appropriately to increase conversion
To maintain accurate and up-to-date enquiry databases
Maintain accurate and up-to-date reports
Undertake show-rounds and client meetings
Liaise with clients to confirm all aspects of their wedding or events including final details including numbers, layouts, menu choices, running order etc.
Ensure up-to-date and accurate information is distributed to the relevant departments including the kitchen, F&B and duty managers
Coordinate each wedding on the day to ensure the smooth running of each event
Collate regular feedback from guests for the website and social media as well as encouraging guests to leave reviews on TripAdvisor, Google+ and other sites
Support the organisation and hosting of in-house drop in days and wedding showcase days
Attend approved weddings fairs alongside the Sales and Marketing Manager
Work alongside the Sales and Marketing Manager to promote sales as per the agreed plan
Build local business relationships to increase exposure of the brand and maximise referrals
