With the most recent update from the Scottish Government, we have now moved to Level 0.

What does this mean for you when you visit?

  • Face coverings remain mandatory in all hospitality settings when you are not seated at your table or in your bedroom.
  • You are still required to leave your details to assist with Test & Protect.
  • We can now remain open until midnight in the bar and restaurant, and you no longer need to pre-book your table. However, we are now in the busy summer season, so we would advise you to avoid disappointment. (we don’t take bookings for the beer garden)
  • Up to 10 people from up to four households can now meet in our restaurant and bar and outside in the beer garden, fifteen people from fifteen households. Children under twelve do not count towards this total.
  • Two hundred people can now attend weddings.

Our team is happy to answer any queries you may have around these changes, and we look forward to welcoming you soon.

The safety and well-being of our guests and staff is a top priority for us

Providing safe and clean environments for our guests and team members is always a top priority for us, even more so today. From the beginning of the current situation generated by Coronavirus COVID-19, we have taken measures to protect the health and safety of our guests and staff members and we would like to share some of these actions with you:

Since the situation is still developing, it is difficult to anticipate how things may yet become. We will continue monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely and we will apply updates to these measures attending to the recommended procedures and protocols by the World Health Organization, Centre for Disease Control and Prevention and local authorities. Your understanding and cooperation are highly appreciated.

We continue to have the following enforce throughout the Glen Mhor Hotel and Apartments and the Waterside Restaurant Takeaway:

  • All touch points in public areas and guest room are cleaned continuously using disinfectant sanitising solution

  • Hand sanitizers are in place at all public spaces for guests and staff

  • All our staff wear PPE and will be fully prepared and informed about the measures and the procedures that will keep them and our guests safe

  • We have put in place a self-check-in procedure with no staff interaction

  • We are only taking payments online or by card. Please bear in mind that we are currently not taking cash payment.

  • A room will be prepared to self-isolate a guest that might be affected while waiting for health service

  • Your collaboration is essential. If you experience fever, cough and difficulty breathing, please inform us or call NHS 111.

  • From the 10th September in Scotland, Face coverings are mandatory in hospitality venues when not seated in your designated area

  • Maximum 6 people from up to 2 households can meet socially. Unfortunately, gatherings by more at any part of the hotel is not permitted.
