Meet your Wedding Coordinator
My name is Victoria and I am the wedding coordinator for two beautiful wedding venues at Glen Mhor Hotel & Apartments in Inverness, situated on lovely banks of River Ness. The perfect location for weddings. I’ve worked in the industry for over 5 years now, so you can have confidence in me taking good care of you.
I have the pleasure of meeting lovely couples planning their special day. I really enjoy being part of the process of making their wedding day a truly special and memorable one, not just for the couple, but everyone involved on the day. The beautiful part about assisting couples through this process is that every wedding is so different and unique. My goal is to keep the couple calm, take the stress away and let them enjoy their experience along the way. Please see the most frequent questions I get asked.
If you have more questions, please do not hesitate to email me: firstname.lastname@example.org, I will be happy to respond.
What is the Wedding Coordinator’s role in my wedding?
I am the first point of contact for wedding enquiries. I meet with future Brides and Grooms to show round our beautiful venues, go over requirements for their special day and I provide them with the wedding packages to accommodate their needs. If they choose one of our venues for their wedding day, I will be there every step of the way. I help with the planning and ensure every part of their wedding day is running smooth and it is exactly as they imagined.
How involved is the Wedding Coordinator in my wedding?
It is different for every couple and their wishes. I can be as involved as they allow me. Some couples are happy to take over their wedding to every detail and some prefer my assistance. I understand how daunting it can be to plan a wedding as I meet with brides daily and I coordinate weddings almost every weekend. Every bride wishes for her special day to be perfect and I am here to help to achieve that for her in every way I can.
How can couples make the most of a wedding coordinator?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions, that’s what I am here for. Once you have decided on your wedding date and the venues you would like to view, write down everything you would like on your special day. Every detail is important when you are meeting with your wedding coordinator. From the number of people, location, menu, theme, entertainment, budget and any other requirements you may have. If you are clear on what your special day should look like, the wedding coordinator can offer you the best wedding package tailored to your requirements.
What can I ask the Wedding Coordinator in my first meeting?
Capacity of the venues
What are the catering provisions
Don’t be afraid to ask if the package is negotiable. The wedding coordinator might be able to remove some elements, which could reduce the cost.
What advice do you have for future Brides and Grooms?
I always advise my couples that as soon as the venue is secured, do the following:
Book the celebrant
Photographer or videographer
Hair and makeup
Think about the little things: soundtrack for your entrance into dinner and even the ceremony. Brief your photographer as to exactly what you want and how much time you should allow for pictures to be taken from start to finish of your special day.
What do you enjoy most being a wedding coordinator?
Building a relationship with the couple, getting to know them from the initial show round and to being there on their special day. It’s a magical feeling being part of the day and watching the celebrations, knowing that I was there from day one.
Will the wedding coordinator be at my wedding?
Of course! After months of planning I want to be there on the day, not just to see the beauty of everything come together, but also to ensure you can relax, enjoy your day and rest assured that we are on hand to help everything run smoothly. Depending on the size and logistics of your wedding I will be present from set up until the point the last supplier is providing their service. After this point we will quietly slip away and leave you to dance 'til your heart's content!
